It looks to me that the voters got it mostly right so far. I’m glad Always and The Sugarland Express even made the runner-ups list. The Post is too high, but it’s fresh on people’s minds since it was just released a few months ago. I think over time it’ll be forgotten. Good movie, but not very special in my opinion.

Tintin is an all-time favorite of mine. Bridge of Spies is one of the best movies of the last few years, and honestly Spielberg's best since Munich. Sad to see them so low but I'm glad they charted at all.

Feel like I rag on The Post but I do think it's a solid movie, it's just... underwhelming. With that story and those storytellers it should've been one of the greats. Haven't seen Hook since it was basically the default "movie to throw on when there's a substitute" in elementary school. Don't remember much about The Terminal other than it being fine, just nothing spectacular. I enjoy Crystal Skull more than most but it's the least of the Indy movies. Never cared much for War Horse.

The rest I haven't seen, but Always is in my Netflix list.

Honestly surprised RPO didn’t place a little higher despite being super recent. 22 votes from this thread alone is a good showing though. I’m just happy it made the Top 20 at all. Just straight up classic, feel good Spielberg that’s been missing in the last several years.

I think the main reason it cracked the top 20 is BECAUSE it's so recent. But it's awesome so I'm not complaining.

RPO was my #7. My favorite Spielberg film since I saw Jurassic Park in the theater as a young kid.

It is not a classic....it can't be considered a classic. Get back to us in 20 years.

Bridge of Spies was very historically inaccurate which kills the film in my book.

ok, fair enough... wasn't trying to be insulting. It's just that they aren't amongst the most popular Spielberg films... so they wouldn't be titles that I would expect to crack the top 10...

It's rare for me to actually dislike Spielberg titles. Some films I find too unpleasant for me to enjoy (Schindler's List, Munich), others misfires that still have good stuff in them (1941, Crystal Skull)...

I think the only film I downright disliked was HOOK... nothing worked for me in that film.
