I bought the Mediabook from Germany already and its a fantastic release. Hopefully Arrow produce an equally great version (not better otherwise I will have to double dip)

Arrow for the win
If Arrow fix the constant buzzing noise in the audio then it is an instant double dip for me.

I never noticed any buzzing sound?

I hope you telling me doesn't make me notice it now
Otherwise I will hold you solely responsible for for my double dip too

Maybe you will now. Seriously though I noticed it in the opening scene and it is throughout the entire film every time someone speaks.

I have the mediabook from Germany as well and that buzzing noise is so damn irritating. Beautiful transfer and all that but the audio is reason enough for me to purchase the arrow version. Not to mention the care they will put into every aspect of their version. Curious if this will end up region A and B like their Mark of the Devil release. One can hope.

That issue really puts off this release:

Shame. Would have been far cheaper since I still own neither 1 or 2 in hd.

Just get that release and pretend it doesn't come with Bride? And then pick up the Arrow Bride later.

Maybe. Am on a very limited budget due to family commitments and my actual work income.

Amazon have announced their release slate right up to November now and no mention of it yet, so unless it's out in December, we'll be waiting until next year. It's a shame, but Arrow have put out some excellent stuff this year, so I'm happy to be patient.

The German mediabook is perfectly fine for me plus I prefer the first movie anyway.

Although Re-Animator is an old favourite of mine, I don't think I've ever watched the sequel. At the time of release, and after seeing how bad the cut version of Re-Animator we were stuck with in the UK was, I couldn't be bothered tracking down an unrated version of this. I shall rectify this, thanks to Arrow.

LOVE the Re-Animator Trilogy!
So, is the audio commentary with Jeffrey Combs and Bruce Abbott the same one which originated on The Bride of Re-Animator Laserdisc release? Obviously I'll be buying the UK release.
