Is Universal using different cases on some of its releases. I recently got Sisters and Steve Jobs from Universal and both came in non Vortex, non Elite, knock off looking 2 disc cases. I was just wondering if anyone else got them in cases like that? Thanks

Yep, they feel cheap, I think they started using them since the Crimson Peak release.

Maybe they can't get the 2 disc elites? Yeah I don't like them. I picked mine up from Hastings, so you never know. But I swapped Sisters into a double disc elite case and it pretty much falls all the way through the slip which led me to think that they made the slips for the new thicker cases.

My Sisters copy came in a eco-LITE Vortex case. The logo is on the left side top of the case above the DVD.

I saw that when I just looked again. It is just not one I have seen on retail blu-rays.

Yep, seems that they've always used Viva Elite cases.

I prefer these over the Eco Viva cases with the recycle logo cutout on one side of the case.

Yeah I got one for Monster High: Great Scarier Reef. I prefer the other case.
