Default What Blu-ray SHOULD You Have But Don't?

There are just certain movies that I see somewhere and think to myself "HOW DO I NOT OWN THAT MOVIE?"

The Lovely Bones and LA Confidential are two that stand out. These are 5 star movies for me and I can't explain why I don't own them.

L.A. Confidential, yes.
Lovely Bones, no.

I don't know what I'm missing that I should have. Then again, if I don't currently own it (unless it hasn't come out yet), then I have no desire to.

I wouldn't either if I had 1,003 Blu's.

Reflecting on this makes me feel better, as the first things that come to mind are ones I already have on DVD and am in no rush to upgrade. Closest things I can think of are the Toy Story trilogy and the rest of the MCU.

And I'm struggling with this, now that it's only $144 on Amazon right now.

Black Swan
Casino
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Falling Down
Goodfellas
Heat
Mars Attacks
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Pan's Labyrinth
The Rocketeer
The Shining
To Kill A Mockingbird

Funny you should say that as I haven't seen it in donkeys years and to be honest I thought it was way overrated but I have recently been thinking I should buy it and that I was probably wrong all those years ago.

  • Halloween (1978) - I'm looking forward to the 35th Anniversary release.
  • Full Metal Jacket (DigiBook) - The price is far too high.
  • Gods & Generals (DigiBook) - The price is too high.
  • The Odd Couple - I'm waiting for it to be $9.99.
  • The Fugitive - I'm excited for the 20th Anniversary edition.
  • Criterions: Stagecoach, Shoah and Lord Of The Flies - I'm waiting for the Barnes And Noble July 9th sale.
