hey all, i was sitting here thinking on this subject:
How much bargining power do you think we have at our local retail stores? what i mean is for example, say i went into CC to buy an onkyo receiver 605 that retails for $499 there. how hard or easy would it be to try and bargin with the salesperson? like say "well i have seen it on sale here for $399 in the past and thats what i am willing to pay for it" would it depend on how bad they want to make a sale or do you think they would give in to the customer? wanted to hear thoughts on this? i have never tried it before because i usually get things on sale and just dont ask, but now i was thinking of doing trying to make my own sale at the stores. i get it all the time at my work with the indians and other nationalities, they love to barter with us americans ![]() Last edited by MATTYBLU2; 12-17-2007 at 11:39 PM. |
