Australia Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales - Blu-ray/UHD, September 13th, 2017.

Blu-ray - http://www.ezydvd.com.au/blu-ray/pir...017/dp/6182288

I also noticed that Ezydvd have a 4K UHD Blu-ray version listed on their website:

UHD - http://www.ezydvd.com.au/DVD/pirates...ray/dp/6182287

The heading says "UHD 4k+Blu-ray", but the format is listed as DVD, however they have another listing on their website for the DVD version:

http://www.ezydvd.com.au/DVD/pirates...017/dp/6182289

JB have put up a pre-order listing for a steelbook Blu-ray version of this:

https://www.jbhifi.com.au/movies-tv-...elbook/460149/

They don't have a release date listed on their website, however, the 13th of September is listed in their in store database.

Sad face, it wasn't a throw away use of 3d either and the way i'd recommend people watch it. It wasn't great but certainly very good. The film didn't wow me at all, but I know a 3d release would have me pick it up.

Not sure how reliable this site is:
https://www.dvdland.com.au/products/...SABEgIbO_D_BwE

It lists a different release date to the uk version, but also different to au. Probably a dud listing.

Well Well.. Looks like I'm going to have to double dip this one if I want 4K and 3D - doesn't help that I haven't seen it - hopefully it's good, god knows they had enough time to get it right.

Looks like 3D is taking a bit of a beating in Aus now much like the states - even my local event cinema only has 3.30pm showings of 3D for any new release now which is bloody slack. Ah well, import it is.

I'd buy the copy you want most first, the film is just okay.

I'm trying to order a copy since it comes out a month earlier than the US, but JB-HiFI is not accepting my phone number (US). I can't tell what I'm doing wrong, any advice?

I was, but the examples were throwing me off. Fixed now. I can't wait to get this in just 2 weeks!

Americans importing the Australian version to get it early whilst i'm importing to get the 3d version. Really sad to see no local 3d release here.
