Default Kafka (Steven Soderbergh, 1991)

Disappointed that Soderbergh's excellent b&w period film Kafka (1991) is still not on Region 1 DVD and/or Blu yet. Amazing movie that I have seen both on VHS and streamed.

This is one of my favorite '90's films; I like how the movie incorporates elements from Kafka's fiction, and still has an original storyline. The red tape/office politics/bureaucracy elements are hilarious, and obviously reflect Kafka's own experiences to some extent.

Anyone know why this still hasn't made it's way onto even Region 1 DVD?! There are no music/soundtrack rights issues that I'm aware of, so there must be something else going on. I know the movie is not well known, but I believe there is an audience out there for this. Hell, even Soderbergh's excellent King of the Hill got released by the CC a couple of years ago, and AFAIK that's an even more obscure than Kafka...
