The Revenant-Dolb Atmos?

I heard rumors that there will be a version of this Oscar-winning picture available in Dolby Atmos. Can anybody can confirm this?

If a version is to appear - it would most likely be on the UHD edition as this is the case with "The Peanuts Movie". Since only one of the first batch of UHD titles to include Atmos this is hopefully Fox getting their head out of the sand and more are forthcoming: Deadpool, Kung Fu Panda 3, The Revenant, etc.,

Neither the BD nor the UHD have an Atmos mix. Both are 7.1.

^ I'm hoping their press release was wrong and somehow the 7.1 DTS track is only on the standard Bluray

This is the type of movie that would greatly benefit from Dolby Atmos soundtrack for sure

^ did you actually hear it in the theater as such RockyIII? the sonic's were incredible - the mix brilliantly demonstrated that atmospheric effects highly benefit from the overhead sound sourcing: wind through the trees, the creaking of the trees overhead, arrows descending during an attack, a character walking directly over the listener and more

in my opinion the five best Atmos mixes of 2015 were:
- Mad Max Fury Road
- The Revenant
- Everest
- Inside Out
- The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 2

I own Everest in 3D Dolby Atmos Bluray and even though I did not go watch The Revenant, just from the trailers alone I could just tell it is the type of film that would only benefit from overhead surround effects.
Studios need to get their acts together when it comes to these new film releases
