Virgin Media due to unveil 4K TiVo box today

Virgin Media’s corporate Twitter account has teased an image of a new cable TV box, which is expected to support Ultra HD 4K programming.

Earlier this year, Virgin Media confirmed it was developing a 4K version of its TiVo set-top box to rival the likes of Sky Q and BT Ultra HD. It now seems the company will be unveiling the box later today in a live stream on its Twitter account.

No further information has been given about the box, although it’s expected to offer similar features to Sky Q such as being able to start a programme in one room and continue on a different device in another.
