It looks like it's go no extras.

Do I buy it or wait for a review? I've already got it on DVD. And I've got the soundtrack LP. And a framed lobby card.

Fourteen or fight!

I've got the DVD, the LD and the novel. At some point I will, dammit I will, get the Esquire issue with the short story. (Edit: actually now I can read it from Esquire's website with a free subscription, so I can scratch that).

But I need no extras on the Blu-ray, just the movie in 1080p with lossless audio.

I'll post my thoughts Thursday, as I'll be able to watch it Wednesday night.

My hope is this Blu-ray will look and sound great. It's gonna put every release of this over 10 outta business.

I only spent about thirty seconds debating it. The price was too good. It's scheduled to arrive Friday. I'm going to avoid being put in a camp and force-fed LSD.

I haven't read the novel. I wonder if I'm related to the author. He could have been a cousin.

I had a chance to sample it today. It looks/sounds fine to me. I saw no problems that stood out in what I viewed, but I'll know better after I get a chance to watch it in full.

Looking forward to your review. Any extras at all?

How is the sound?

I can't seem to get The Shape of Things to Come out of my head now...

That's actually great news. Olive usually dumps the trailer that was on the earlier DVD.

One other question kidglov3s, does this release continue Olive's recent trend of including English subtitles?

Wild in the Streets Blu-ray REVIEW

Tremendous film and one of the very best additions to Olive's catalog this year. It fits right in the middle between William Klein's outrageous films from the same era and Haskell Wexler's Medium Cool.

I used to be into this movie, because Christopher Jones looked so much like James Dean.

Rewatching this today as it seems... extremely timely. Whoever thought pretty much this exact scenario would come to fruition except it was elder culture instead of youth culture that produced a flamboyant outsider populist entertainer POTUS?

I suppose Mr. Show did.
