What would you change/improve on with DCEU Movies?

Man of Steel (2013)
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Suicide Squad (2016)
Wonder Woman (2017)
Justice League (2017)
Aquaman (2018)
Shazam! (2019)
Birds of Prey (2020)

Less studio interference, which seems to be happening with the last few. Thankfully the people in charge of raping Snyder's Justice League are gone. Otherwise, I have no complaints, as a lifelong DC fan.

They haven't known or cared to plan out a universe where you can get excited about solo films as much as you do for the team-up films, because basically they tried a group film once or twice and didn't do a good job, so they gave up and now they're just doing solo adventures and more origin stories.

It comes down to Snyder being horribly mistreated by the previous regime at WB and AT&T needing a new big movie/show on HBO Max. It's just a form of a justice, though I do think that time has been and will continue to be kind to Man of Steel and BvS.

Some actual character development and fleshing out of characters.

Better villains.

Not killing Superman in his second outing.

Superman should have had a solo trilogy before Batman v Superman. The invasion should have happened in the third movie.

There could have been two movies of build before Zod arrived.

Would have allowed more time to build on Lois and Clark, because their relationship is really weak.

I think the biggest thing the DCEU can do to improve is by having more 'scenes'. I'm not really a fan of 'nerdwriter' but he sums it up in this video. This, for me, is why Wonder Woman is DC's best movie by miles and miles.

Have a more consistent vision with all the films. DCEU needed a Kevin Feige type. Don't give us the team up movie (Justice League) until you've established some of the other major characters with solo films. Should have already had a solo Superman sequel by now. It's hard to even call it a "universe" at this point with so many starts and stops and misfires.

The last thing DC needs is a boring dude like Feige turning the whole thing into a sea of blandness. They tried that with Johns and it failed miserably. Let each filmmakers voice come through. Variety is the spice of life.

Some people are too caught up with aesthetic. It's nice to have but it isn't the be all and end all. The most important thing is the script and the characters. At the end of the day did you connect with the characters and were you engaged? Do you care if they live or die? If the answer is no then who cares what the movie looks like or the CGI, or whatever.
