USA Daylight BD on 4/26/11 (Stallone).

Daylight Blu-ray

Daylight Blu-ray Review

Great news for Blu-ray because this was only available on HD-DVD. Daylight is a great action movie with plenty of suspense and heroics . Also in this film is Viggo Mortensen from Hidalgo and The Road. Pre-order price is $18.99 on Amazon, so we should wait until after its released for the price to go down.

This was a really good film. I'm a big Stallone fan though, so I may be kinda bias . I will get this when it comes out.

Stallone is awesome so more of his movies on Blu is a plus. I remember loving this movie so I am sure I will pick it up soon after it's out.

Hell yeah. I collected all of his movies on DVD, Once blu ray came out, i slowly started getting rid of them, I wanna try and get all of them on blu ray. It's already off to a good start, a pretty nice selection so far, and they just keep coming out with more.

Yeah no kidding that movie is great and it had Snipes when he still had a career. With all the Stallone movies on Blu it must mean they sell ok so i am sure we should see it soon( or they may wait till 2013 for the 20 year anniversary ).

Another HD DVD port. If you have a player, you can get it for $2-$3.

Even though I have it on HD DVD, I will be buying the blu version too. It is one of my all time favorite Stallone films.

I'm 100% in!

Love this title it's close to my favorite 90's tragedy flicks (like speed, dantes peak - all that breed), can't wait to crank it on my Blu setup. Day 1 purchase on a pre-order

Not really. The HD DVD version didn't have DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio. Plus it was HD 30. The blu-ray version will be BD 50

And it will still have the mediocre PQ/AQ rehashed from the dated source elements, if it really is just a port.

Let's hope not.

Tremors was a port.

Yeah, this will have a DTS-HD MA track, but I doubt there will be any difference from the 1.5 mbps DD+ track on the HD DVD.

Also, the HD DVD is $2-3, not $19. I like the movie, but it's nothing I'd spend more than $5 on.

I loved this film, a lot of fun a bit of a departure for Stallone. But since the DTS soundtrack on the dvd was considered one of THE best ever on dvd (I managed to find a copy of it at a flea market and boy is it amazing.) I have high hopes for this HD soundtrack as demo material. (plus I agree that Dante's Peak is such a guilty pleasure. The scene where grandma is being eaten away by the acid is so much fun that they actually ran something similar in Volcano, remember? Gotta love disaster flicks!)
