That will certainly be used as a selling point for Blu Ray.

A years worth of Sales winnings is nothing to sneeze at.

I have a question... If M$ supposedly has all this money and they're the ultimate evil in the universe, why didn't they have some stooge in every city go out and buy every HD-DVD they could find at retail and ship them back to some warehouse? I mean, if they're willing to spend $150 million on Paramount wouldn't it be to their benefit to at least get out there and take ONE stinking week just so Blu couldn't rub their noses in it?

But..but..but..but Warner is not conserned with sales, they are conserned with stand alone player sales.

It's been 52 weeks so far since Blu-Ray disc sales were exceeding HD-DVD disk sales as per VideoScan, one year.

From what I've heard, they've sort of done this with Transformers, Potter, and Bourne.. but it just wasn't enough.

On some scale they have tried this. And they pay dorks to try to post good spin for HD DUD online too. However,... the fact is you don't get that much money without having some reason-able advisors nearby and anyone who can think already knows HD DUD is just a sinking ship.
