Default My ultimate blu-ray sacrifice

I thought I would share my recent thoughts on my blu-ray collection...

I've been collecting blu-rays since late 2011. It started off with the love of getting drunk and watching blu-rays.... I loved it so I started collecting. I started buying every movie I liked that was available on blu-ray until it came down to what was new in theatres that I also wanted to own. I realized over time that my passion for it slowly started to decline over time. I had close to 500 blu-rays at one point. The fact is I'm getting out of the game, a couple days ago I traded in almost all my blu-rays to Amazon for Amazon gift cards. I dont mind that I could have gotten a lot more if I sold them on my own cuz I'd rather have it in an Amazon gift card.

However, the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE was getting out of the game just before my favorite movie gets released on blu-ray..... The Burbs. Oh well, I can always watch it somehow, but the truth is I barely watch movies anymore.

I kept most my horror movies on blu and I will still be buying the Phantasm collection if that gets a blu-ray release later this year. Other than that, I'm done.

I really enjoy reading what people say about movies on this site, so I'll still be popping in from time to time and to see if anything else in the horror genre catches my eye. You've all been great! One love!
