Default Anyone here really good at photoshop? I need someone taken out of a photo

I want to blow the photo up and frame it. Its a really good picture, but it would be even better is my friend wasn't standing in it. Anyone here good at that?

Depending on the size of the photo, you might be able to simply crop it down and print. Otherwise, you'd have to scan it at a higher resolution, crop, then size it down.

should be pretty easy, I don't have Photoshop installed anymore though. If the guy/gal takes half the pic or something then its not as easy unless you have another shots of the same background.

I photoshop pictures for my job almost daily. But I never do anything close to what you are asking. PM me the picture and I will take a look at it.

I wish I could post the picture. You would see what I'm talking about. I can't crop him out.

I'm not sure if any computer software is out there or not that can do that. I also have hundreds of pictures I saved of the internet and wanted to blow up to make it used for wallpaper or screensaver.

But I'm not sure any such computer software is out there like you see in TV show like NCIS or CSI that can take small picture and make it big. You not really zooming in or looking for more detail trying make out person face just making the picture bigger.

From what I understand all photo editing is done by skilled person using good photo editing software. The computer software does not do that on its own.

This is pretty true. We get photos from readers taken on cell phones all the time that we have to crop down and resize and they look like garbage. It is impossible to make a picture larger, BUT if it has enough pixels you can save it as a large size anyways. It depends on the size, if it's 3 MP picture forget it you'd be able to get a wallet size at best. You need a good 12 MP or better to print.

As far as editing goes, it is a craft you have to learn the software is just a tool. I will admit I am not a professional editor, I use professional software, I work for a newspaper and edit photos regularly and I have taken courses in it but it's not my primary role and not my true skill. But I do it enough I can make some adjustments and crop images but not much else to be honest.

I use a 14MP camera. I've blown up many pictures and have had them printed out and framed. This is a picture of me and a 94" Lemon Shark that I caught (tagged and released). I just want the guy in the background and tape measure flying through the air. Its a night picture so most of the background is dark. I wish it was easier to post pictures here so you can see what I'm talking about.

Posting pics here is a doddle, add it to your gallery and post a link, Blu-ray.com allows very high resolution pics.

Reading your request sounds easy, my only problem is I'm so busy after work. Usually I'm rushing to get things done, and then get a good ride in on my bike, and by the time I'm done, it is time for bed.

Its possible I can do this on Sunday. If interested PM me your email, and I will reply and send the pic then.
