'Broom-Hilda' comic strip to be made into movie. (or movies)

Broom Hilda the 1,500 year old man crazy witch with an attitude, and a weight problem born out of the popular 1970's comic strip by Russell Myers has just been picked up by producers Gilbert Adler, and Jason A Rosenberg..

Who plan to make one, two, or even three films.

If the target audience is millennials, I doubt they read the Sunday funnies, or newspapers.

Do they even still make this anymore. Don't think I've seen this strip, Hagar the Horrible, or Snuffy Smith since the mid-90's.

I'm 28, and I absolutely loved reading the Sunday comics growing up!

When Jacob was a kid in the 1990s, sunday funnies still had old comics from thr past including broom hilda.
