Tsui Hark's Flying Swords of Dragon Gate received a fairly wide release on 3D Blu-ray, though only the editions listed below are English-friendly. The UK and USA editions include an English dub track as well as English subtitles, though the US edition only includes hard-of-hearing subtitles on the 3D disc. The Hong Kong Limited Edition includes the film in an expanded aspect ratio while all other editions are letterboxed.

In addition, we need something different in the US IMAX 3D screen. We have way too many CG animated 3D, time for something different. Don't you guys agree? This will definitely get me back to the theater.

I agree this looks great but I don't think I would be able to watch in 3D and read the subtitles. But it does look awesome.

If they do have subtitles I hope the subtitles will pop out more than the image. so it won't look weird and out of place. have this movie released in china yet??

Maybe they can use big yellow fonts like AVATAR?

and yes, it have been released in Asia. The reviews are all positive from what I have seen on the net. In addition, it even converted 3D hater to 3D lover and are looking forward to more. This is why this movie caught my attention more than HUGO. As it is something very different from the current 3D offering in the state.

Maybe if we get enough "like" on IMAX page, we will get to see this movie in US IMAX? That would be fantastic!

The great thing about Tsui Hark's work is that u can pick anything up that he's made with your eyes closed. true legend

Yes to anything that looks like a good live action movie and has 3D.

I just finished to watch it on DVD in 2D and is amazing. I cannot wait to come on BD 3D. Has so many and good 3D effects.
