So one time I entered a movie rental store which usually had its new releases displayed on a counter. Of all the releases, the one that draw my attention was a movie called The Brass Teapot which poster was this:
![]() I didn't even read the synopsis and ended up renting it. The premise was surprisingly clever and the movie itself was very enjoyable. The reason of the post is the following... Movie poster artist Drew Struzan could make any pos look like an epic masterpiece. A perfect example is his one-sheet for Masters of the Universe. As Thomas Jane once said, "I wanna see THAT movie!".

I like to know as little about a movie as possible before watching, so yes..I've watched many films based solely on their poster art.
Back in the days of video stores, it was the only way I picked films as I hate having movies spoiled for me by trailers. I watch an awful lot of crap in order to filter out the gems that I then re-watch with various family members. |
