Default Movies you saw only for the poster

So one time I entered a movie rental store which usually had its new releases displayed on a counter. Of all the releases, the one that draw my attention was a movie called The Brass Teapot which poster was this:

I didn't even read the synopsis and ended up renting it. The premise was surprisingly clever and the movie itself was very enjoyable.
The reason of the post is the following... Have you ever watched a movie only for the poster?

Before finishing the post I'm going to leave you some examples of movies that I watched only for the poster.

Satan's Blade is the first film which sprung to mind.

Needless to say, the film doesn't live up to the art... but I still kinda liked it.

Movie poster artist Drew Struzan could make any pos look like an epic masterpiece. A perfect example is his one-sheet for Masters of the Universe. As Thomas Jane once said, "I wanna see THAT movie!".

I've never seen a movie just because of the poster, I need to see a trailer first.

Not so much the poster, but the cover on the VHS tape usually got me intrigued enough to rent the tape in the 80s and 90s. Think I went through all the Horror, Sci-Fi and Fantasy sections of my local.

I like to know as little about a movie as possible before watching, so yes..I've watched many films based solely on their poster art.

Back in the days of video stores, it was the only way I picked films as I hate having movies spoiled for me by trailers.

I watch an awful lot of crap in order to filter out the gems that I then re-watch with various family members.
