One of the best films I've seen this year. Would love if some of Reichardt's other films got a re-release, that boxset goes for crazy money now.

Pre-ordered. Very few directors I would do that for but I've been waiting a long time to see this and this is Reichardt revisiting similar territory to one of her best films, Meek's Cutoff. Happy to add it to the collection!

Typical - I just ordered the US version and it has shipped. I must lack patience

Do Mubi tend to do bonus features on their physical releases? I held off on ordering the US release because it looked pretty bare bones.

Their only releases to feature extras not on their streaming service are Under the Silver Lake (US extras plus an exclusive Andrew Garfield Q&A) and Suspiria (US extras - featurettes are also on YouTube.)

Other releases have included virtual Q&As (Ema, Beginning, Notturno, Matthias & Maxime) - but the extras aren't really unique as the films stream on the service with the Q&A at the end.

Some titles such as On Body and Soul, Border are completely barebones. Unfortunately this is also true of films which do have extras on their US releases, like The Image Book (Kino includes feature length Rotterdam masterclass and half hour interview), Bacurau (Kino includes commentary and two hours of video extras) and Beanpole (Kino includes 10 minute director interview.)

First Cow includes MAKING OF FEATURETTE, which I assume is the same as A Place in this World featurette from the US release. However, the stream on MUBI also includes a Kelly Reichardt Q&A with Corrina Antrobus - 2:01:56 to about 2:15 on the stream, so I would be surprised if this isn't also on the Blu-ray.
