Hopefully HMV in Canada comes through with this like they did for today's release of Batman V Superman digibook

Would buy if it was a digibook, otherwise will wait for the standard release to inevitably be $7.99 a few weeks later.

My Target Digibook collection is growing again! With is one, BvS and Independence Day so far the prices have been better then Best Buy for their Steels and you get more for your money IMOP.

Oh you're right, I didn't even notice that... but taking a closer look at the image now, it does seem that the book is separate from the actual Blu-ray set! That's a no-no... will probably go with the Best Buy Steelbook instead if this is not a true Digibook like Batman V Superman.

After analyzing this I don't think its a Digibook at all. It's just the regular standard edition which happens to be bundled with a "Photo Diary" in the packaging.

Correct, it will probably be like the Jack Reacher, MI Rogue Nation style of slip box and booklet inside.

Doubtful, those were a different studio. This would be more likely to be like the F4 digibook. At least I hope.

Yes the Fantastic Four Target exclusive didn't have the conventional trays that come in normal digibooks or digipacks but a slot cut out in the back to store the disc so this X-Men: Apocalypse exclusive will have 2 slots instead.

Fantastic Four Target Exclusive - YouTube
That's a good point! Didn't think of that when I just posted in the ID4 Resurgence Target Exclusive thread!
Either way, slipbox or digibook/sleeve, I like them both.

I missed this one in the theaters so I might just do a blind buy.

I think this will be the version I pick up. Especially if the discs are housed in the book itself. The BB steelbook looks awesome, but I don't have any other X-men steelbooks.

A flippin' digibook?! Why aren't people throwing fits over no metalpak being released to match the previous X-film Target exclusives? I don't even own those metalpaks and I'm angry over this news...

I'd rather have the digibook. So that's why I'm not throwing a fit. I'm happy.

I wish Target was doing a metal pak for this to match the last movie but I'm not going to stress over it. It's not that big of a deal for me. But I can see why people would be upset though.
