I have no money but they really killed it with BF secret releases this year. I didn't think we would ever see Spookies or Candy Snatchers on blu.

Is this something that's limited?

I'm short on funds myself and would love to pick this up, but I'd want the 2-disc version with the doc. I could care less about the slip.

I’m excited to see Spookies after that Redlettermedia best of the worst that covered it. They showed a lot of it, and it was hilarious. The way they were contemplating how certain parts were clearly added at a later date makes me really interested in the documentary, too. I’m all over this!

This looks insane. I’ve never seen it, but after watching the original trailer (which is waaaaaay better than the VS trailer), I gotta pick it up. Isn’t there an original untampered-with version of this kicking around?

Here's a 'Twisted Souls' version someone posted on youtube removing all of the Spookies footage. It doesn't really work as a full movie with all of the other Twisted Souls footage missing but you can see what they were going for.

I ordered mine.... Lemme get this straight, it was announced today and released today? No heads up, just BOOM there it is? Sheeeeesh, I'm lucky I even came across this thread, been waiting forever for some kind of release of this movie.

Yes, it was one of the two surprise releases for BF.

It was rumored rather wildly that it was a distinct possible one of the VS mystery titles, so it's not completely out of the blue exactly... but yeah, today was the official unveiling of it.

Looks like VS sent out review copies in advance too. The site has reviews for this, The Candy Snatchers, and Vice Academy 1-3. They must have been required to keep their existence a secret.

Review sites can't exactly leak anonymously, and they want to keep those advance copies coming, so only a complete idiot would screw it up for everyone. (I almost typed "no one would be stupid enough to screw it up for everyone," but yeah...we all know better than that.)
