Presuming my TV is capable of handling both native 1080i/50 and the same material converted for the US to 1080i/60, which is the best to go for?
Forgive my ignorance, but I'm trying to work out which territory's release of the BBC TV drama Zen I should buy. The USA region A release sees the series in 1080i converted from 50HZ to 60HZ with what would appear to be resulting minor motion issues. However, the series has also been released in Italy and Spain with what appears to be the same packaging, and also in Germany where I know it has its own German-language title sequence and is named 'Aruelio Zen'. Does anyone happen to also know if any of these releases are likely to be in the native 50HZ, and which, if any, will retain the original English-language title sequence? Desk |
