However, I doubt that the reviewer was old enough to actually see this film when it was released in the '50s. For its time, the movie was different than other movies of that time and so there is a nostalgic feeling that is attached to it, as well as, It Came From Outer Space. The fact that Tobor the Great has a Blu-ray release is amazing. It is not likely to do well in Blu-ray release as It Came From Outer Space. Nonetheless, it was an immediate pre-release buy when it became available. Looking forward to it, no matter how hokey it turns out to be.
