One of the essential late 70's car chase films is non other then Smokey and the Bandit. A movie that when on to spawn two theatrical sequels and a handful of knock-off TV movies and countless imitations. A Documentary on the making of that classic and the relationship Burt Reynolds had with director Hal Needham is all included in this award winning Doc. It finally gets an air date of August 6th on CMT.
