just got back, awesome movie! it was so funny, i loved it. cant wait for this to be released on blu ray. also, i dunno if paramount or uni has anything good coming out but they just showed movies from the studios that are on blu side. but yes i suggest you guys check alvin and the chipmunks out.

The question is if it comes to Blu-ray. I would really want this on Blu-ray, but Fox didn't mention this when they mentioned upcoming Blu-ray releases such as Horton Hears A Who (which doesn't even open for 3 months or so).

good to know. I think I'm the only one I know who is interested in seeing this movie. I think the Chipmunks just holda special place in my heart since I watched them a lot as a child.

Hopefully I can convince someone to go see this with me.

theres no doubt in my mind that its not comin to blu.(wait, did i word that right? sorry its late) i dont think fox is that stupid. i think itll sell pretty good when it comes to blu.

I loved this movie as well and Fox better release it on Blu, I won't buy the DVD.

You never know if this will come out. There are a whole bunch of movies for mext year that have not been announced and this could be one of them.

I can tell you one reason it WILL be out on Blu-ray. $45million dollars opening weekend. This will be one of their bigger movies this year. I don't think AVP2 will beat it.

Oh yeah, I just got back from seeing it (chipmunks, not AVP2). It was good. Everyone eles I know who saw it, especially the women LOVED it.

It's a successful kid's movie. It's coming to Blu.

ALVIN is now in it's second week and it is still killing here. I am moving it to the larger screens for Christmas Day because I expect it to out sell I AM LEGEND and AVP:R.

This is definitely coming to Blu-ray. I doubt you will see any studio on either side pass up releasing a high def version of a day and date release that was very successful at the box office. They would be leaving money on the table if they did that.

I thought Chipmunks was going to be a terrible movie when we took the kids. It turns out it was really funny. The entire theater was laughing and enjoying it.

I believe Fox has already stated that "Chipmunks" would be coming.

I believe it was at the High-Def 2.0 event.
