Default The Norm Show

Anyone a fan? I love Norm Macdonald... but have never seen an episode of this. Considering buying the Shout! Factory complete set since it's well-reviewed and pretty affordable, just curious to hear some thoughts beforehand. Also not sure how high to put it on my list of TV-watching priorities.

I'm a huge Norm fan and have this set. It's got it's moments but it's not a great show or anything. Norm's humor obviously has to be very watered down to fit a prime time sitcom on ABC.

Us Norm fans have to take the little bit of him we can get though so if it's under 20 bucks I'd say go for it. Just don't expect the level of laughs you would get from Dirty Work, his podcast, his stand-up or his Weekend Update days.

I'm also not really a fan of any post-Seinfeld multi-camera/laugh track sitcoms so your mileage may vary.

That's kind of what I was expecting

Thank you. Will get around to it eventually because I love Norm, but won't make it a priority.
