...you'll see that a 3 Musketeers release is coming on the same date from "the Asylum" - makers of countless big screen knock off films - like "Almighty Thor" and "Transmorphers" - not to mention "Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus". They are releasing their first Blu-ray 3D title, A Haunting In Salem, in October. See here:

LOL...that's pretty funny. I can't believe they are doing that for adult oriented movies. I know they did that with movies that appealed to kids. I remember when Disney's Aladdin first showed trailers and my mom picked this up in the store not soon after seeing the trailer thinking it was the same movie....

Hey everyone, in my quest for reasonably priced 3D content, I was looking on Best Buy and I found that you can pre-order the 3 Musketeers on Blu-ray 3D for just $20. I never saw the movie (wanted to) but I figured, this isn't a bad price for a BD 3D title.

Release date is set for 2/7/2012 so a bit away but free shipping.

Not a bad price! I haven't seen it, but I do like Milla, so I'd be in for a blind-buy.

One note, however, is Best Buy will keep re-authorizing your credit card every few days until the item ships -- if you're using a debit card, you'll have a constant $20 hold on your card until February

Ive never had that happen with my pre orders from bestbuy.com

This is a horrible movie, however thats what makes it so entertaining and fun.
I will definately be picking this up andf 20 dollars for the 3D version is a good price.

I'm glad you linked to the trailer as I almost pre-ordered.

The 2011 movie is called 'The Three Musketeers' not '3 Musketeers' but without the image and without clicking the 'Play Trailer' button, it's easy to be duped in to thinking it's the new movie with Milla Jovovich, Orlando Bloom and co.

Amazon.co.uk has it listed for pre-order (not region free) but Amazon.com doesn't.

I am also glad that you pointed this out as I almost pre ordered as a blind buy because I thought it was the Milla Jovovich version and I will blind buy anything with Mila in it

Heads up on this one: The Theatrical release about a month ago:

3D Musketeers with Milla Jovovich 2011, director Paul WS Anderson, both of who I'm a fan.

Quick Review: Great 3D couldn't save the unfocused plot, lack of characters to care about thanks to their lack of focus (at one point, the Three Musketeers are wondering what even they should do, and the hero kid is mostly just arrogant). Milla is only a supporting character; she should've been the lead here really... She has a couple action scenes when she appears. Otherwise, Orlando Bloom only speaks, and doesn't do any action. As far as the pacing, it's not bad, it keeps moving.
You'll like it if you like:
Elaborate Costumes of old Paris
Paris as a setting
Talk of Kings and courtship
Fencing sword fighting
Pirate Ships, only this time in the sky

The movie looks great despite what I think of the costume styling, and the 3D is right on par with Anderson's Resident Evil Afterlife 3D; great 3D that pops with depth.
Movie: 3/10. Without someone to root for and a lost plot, I couldn't wait to leave. Maybe another view would ease some of that...
3D: 8.5/10. Great 3D.

I'll pass on this one for Blu Ray 3D. It was sort of painful; I really hate to say, and I loved Resident Evil 3D to give perspective that I'm an Anderson/Milla fan. I don't think Anderson wrote this one, did he?
