Hey everyone!
I have not yet taken the plunge but I plan to upgrade in February when I get a bonus from work. I want to check with some experienced upgraders as I have a scenario with multiple displays. I will be upgrading my Blu-ray player and TV to 4K models in my theatre. However, I have additional displays that I play the movie to so that there is no pausing the movie when people go to the restroom or snack bar. Here is the scenario: Theatre: 80" 4K TV (Zone 1) & 4K Blu-ray Player Snack Bar: 24" 1080p TV (Zone 2) Restroom: 24" 1080p TV (Zone 2) My main question is, will the picture display on the Zone 2 TV's if they are NOT 4K? If I needed to upgrade the Zone 2's that's one thing but the problem is I cannot find any 24" 4K models on the market. Due to where they are, I am limited on space and the 24" TV's fit perfect in each location. Additionally, I would rather not spend more money upgrading them as they aren't the main display. Any information anyone can provide will be most helpful. Thank you! |
