This is an odd one...not in the same vein or genre as the other "darker" DC animated movies. I never watched the old Batman TV show so I don't care for the campier style. I am inclined to collect all of the DC animated steels, but also might end up skipping this (assuming Target releases this in the US) as it doesn't fit at all.

As with all of these animated films, there will be people who love it, and people who hate them.

I haven't been impressed with any of them so far other than BATMAN, THE ANIMATED SERIES, but it is a SteelBook, and I've paid more for less before.

Best Buy US has three listings for this title, Blu, DVD and a mysterious BD, it could be the Steelbook or a figurine or a comic book:

If history is repeating itself then the Best Buy exclusive includes a figurine and Target will be a steelbook

Apparently the BB exclusive is a comic book of the DC 66 comic book series (but without a figure). So there's still a chance that Target releases a steelbook. Fingers crossed.
