I recently purchased this blu-player and the resume option on warner bros blu-rays like Lord of the Rings or the Fringe seasons doesn't work. They worked fine on my old Sony blu-ray player before it died on me. Any ideas?

I own the same player. In order for the resume function to work on Java based discs, you need to have a flash drive inserted in the player.

Maybe I need a different flash drive.

How big is the flash drive? Also, put it in your computer and try formatting it.

It's an 8 gb flashdrive. I formatted it on my computer and then tried and it still doesn't work. Do you think a bigger flash drive would help?

I only keep a 4gb drive in mine. Have you tried a Fox disc to see if your player has a glitch with WB titles?

I tried a Fox blu-ray and it resumes just fine. I guess this player doesn't like Warner blurays.

Mine doesn't like the Twilight Zone BDs. Just found out tonight. Once the machine has been powered off it doesn't remember where it left off. It's frustrating because they're not Java based discs and they worked flawlessly in another Samsung player.
