Marvin the Martian from the Bugs Bunny cartoons. Here's a little bit about it:

Crystal, a former Warner exec with a first-look deal at Alcon through his Charlie Co. banner, developed the pitch as a Christmas story, with Marvin coming to Earth to destroy Christmas but being prevented from doing so when he’s trapped in a gift box. Alcon’s out to writers and directors.


Johnson and Kosove told Daily Variety that "Marvin" will be aimed at the family demo along the same lines as Alcon’s "Racing Stripes" and "My Dog Skip."

Okay, so they basically just insert Marvin in place of the Grinch and probably regular humans in place of who's.

i don't know. i like marvin the martian. i'll go see this. it can't be any worse than a lot movies out there. as long as it's not steel it'll be good. by the way is there any news of the looney tunes movie being put on blu-ray?

The title of the video says "test short", so how could that be mistaken for a trailer? I saw that and Hong Kong Phooey (Eddie Murphy voiced) test footage. They were both terrible, and I'm glad they got the axe.

Well, the lack of new updates in the last three years (for both this and Phooey) did raise suspicions...
