The show has so far only been released on Blu-ray in Japan and it's very expensive at about $65 per 2 episode volume.

btw for those interested this is on Netflix now. It is not dubbed and subs only right now. Pretty interesting show. I would like to see how it is dubbed. I went ahead and preordered the LE.

The show that got me back into anime, don't know if I'd want to buy the BD of it though, show has some serious pacing and writing issues 'bout halfway through. But man if those first six episodes aren't near perfect though.

Do you have a link? as it sounds like a bootleg release to me as its only been released on DVD and Blu-ray in Japan and their releases are always pricey.

Just search ebay for attack on titan dvd. Most results are region free and have english subtitles.

It definitely has its flaws which can get annoying but overall it was great. I personally wish I waited till another season came out because they really leave you hanging at the end (one of the annoyances). I just couldn't resist after all the hype I've heard.

Do you have any idea about the price? That edition looks nice but I'm not even willing to pay the $40ish that amazon has for the simplest edition. Especially if they all only contain 13 episodes.
