Interesting...it says steelbook but the spine makes it look like a metalpak...I am intrigued.

I was like what in the world when I checked the site.
I changed it to TBA since we don't have a solid date. Once we know then one of us can edit it.

I heard that the movie didn't do that well.
I do like the design though. That would be cool if the title was debossed. It would would different to see a sideways title debossed or embossed.

Great news! I've seen this film twice already in theaters, it's a lot of fun and the 3D effects (especially in IMAX) are easily the best of 2014 thus far, so much depth and lots of pop-out moments. I can see myself re-visiting this film many times on Blu. Day 1 purchase for me.

It could be, of course we only have early mockups at this point. If the mockup is to be trusted, the logos would'nt be that far to the top/bottom if it were a metalpak. Again, that could all change, but I'm happy either way: Metalpak or steelbook.

Day 1 for me. Surprised to have so much fun with this film. It's no great film, but I was expecting a lot worse.

No 3D no sale. Looks like I have to import, why is the US so lame when it comes to this , is it that big of a deal to include a 3D copy. If they will not release 3D to the home video market then don't release it it in the theaters that way

Sometimes it is cheaper to buy the 2D SteelBook and then pick up the 3D disc domestically, instead of getting the 3D SteelBook overseas.

The GODZILLA 3D SB is at least $50 from France or Germany (before shipping).

Future Shop's is at most $29.99. I'm sure I can get the 3D disc for less than $20.00 locally.

That way you also get the SB without the '3D' plastered on the front.
