72nd... it was released in 1942

Finally! Great story of theatrical life over and above its strong wartime patriotic flair. I just watched this again on TCM on the 4th of July this summer. Always a delight but definitely want to revisit it in HD next time. And it's also nice to see at least the bonus cartoons in HD. I wish all the shorts and trailers as well as the features would get good new HD scans.

YES!!! I've been waiting forever for this. This is that one movie that I have wanted since I've starting collecting blu-rays.

Surprising that this isn't a main Warner release, this is one of their premiere titles.

Great film. To this day I believe Cagney's performance is one of the best ever.... He is amazing.... and yes, of course I will purchase this movie on Blu-ray.

Not a fan of the film, but I'm happy for everyone else. I'm also glad to see these releases humming right along. Maybe October will see some horror. Fearless Vampire Killers would be great. I also like the fact that there is usually about a month window from announcement to actual release date.
