![]() ![]() There have been times when I have watched a film and almost instantly, I felt a connection to the film. Occasionally that connection dissipates as the film continues, but more often than not, this type of instant connection carries on throughout the film. I'm not talking about coming to that conclusion after a long 15-20 minute opening sequence, but more of an instant connection to a film based on the set decoration, style, type of shot, voice or something else. This connection is usually made within the first minute and sometimes much sooner. Here are a few of the films that were like that for me: Le Havre Magnolia Psycho Mr. Nobody Through a Glass Darkly Amelie Paris, Texas The Royal Tenenbaums Last edited by zorbonaut; 07-08-2016 at 03:28 PM. |
