Mediumrare Entertainment are releasing Fist Of Fury starring Bruce Lee on the 28th September 2015

Mediumrare Entertainment is delighted to announce the acquisation of some of Hong Kong's finest martial arts films to be released through 2015. Plans are still to be ironed out but most of the titles will be restored in high definition from original 35mm masters and will be available in Bluray and limited edition steelbook, these movies will never have looked so good! Some highlights from the newly acquired titles are, Fist of Fury, Game of Death, The Way of the Dragon, The Big Boss, When Taekwondo Strikes, Armour of God, and the infamous Riki-Oh- The Story of Ricky

If these are done right then this is good news. I was beginning to give up hope of these getting UK Blu-ray releases

Hopefully some of the other Hong Kong Legends titles get released. Presuming they are commercially viable

**** the steelbooks, if they're actually redoing these from 35mm elements then they could come packaged in a brown envelope for all I care.

Hooray to the four Lee films coming to UK Blu-ray. I actually bought the DVD box set a few months ago because I figured we were never going to get them. I'm just hoping the licensors don't do what they initially did with Shout Factory and hand them the upscaled masters.

I think they will use what Fortune Star give them unless they do new scans which is highly unlikely, but hope i am wrong.

Great news for fans of Hong Kong action cinema! Will definitely be getting Fist of Fury, Way of the Dragon and Armour of God (provided that the transfers are good). Will pass on The Big Boss and Game of Death (not a fan of either).

Looks like they're also releasing Brandon Lee's Legacy of Rage, pre-order for that is up on Amazon as well.

Oh man I hope they are new scans, the current HD transfers are just OK. I would sell my Shout Factory set to get these.

I will also take ALL future Jackie Chan releases if they are decent quality (Hopefully there are some new extra features too)

I'm gonna sell my Shout set (not the fancy boxset, the 'Premier' collection) anyway. I can live with my HKL DVDs until such time as someone gets these right on Blu-ray.

I guess this is the time for us HKL fans to put out money where our mouths are. Especially if the Lee's are getting new scans. Maybe Mediumrare will see it viable to go back and acquire the classic Chans if sales figures impress.

And I hope these will have the original mandarin versions! The HKL ones only had dubbed cantonese for some reason.

Shout! wouldn't even release that on BD because they knew it was an upscale. How bad is something when Shout won't release it? Oh, and no mono either.

I own the fancy one, and went through hell to get those true HD discs. Three times I had to send for replacements. I will sell it and get more than enough to get these releases if they are done right.

Considering Riki Oh is currently being remastered in 4K in Germany, with caps evidence, I have my hopes up for the UK release, and in turn this.

Thinking of buying this. Can anyone tell me how it is picture and audio quality-wise? Mediumrare always make me question before I buy. Thanks!
