The critically-acclaimed film Kajillionaire (2020) will finally be getting a Blu-ray release by Universal (via MOD) on October 25h.

I am kind of wonder if this is a possibility for a Criterion UHD. It is available on digital UHD, and they did her first feature. If they got The Future as well, they could have all three of her movies.

I'd buy a 4k 4 sure, but this movie made $1.6M despite starring Evan Rachel Wood, Debra Winger, Gina Rodriguez & Richard Jenkins. It was a box office dud! We are lucky it is getting a bd at all.

This is definitely true of Universal, who I am honestly surprised is even bothering with a Blu-ray, especially several months after they shrugged out a DVD. Criterion, however, is not going to care. Kajillionaire is definitely the kind of movie their base is interested in, so what can be a flop for Universal can be far more profitable for Criterion.

Correct, mine is pressed too. No menu though... just the option to turn on/off Subs.

I tried to pre-order Kajillionaire from Walmart and it's still showing a status of Delayed. Did anyone manage to successfully receive this BD from WM?
