Okay, I really enjoyed Crispin Glover as Willard in the 2003 remake and that film is sorely overdue for a Blu-ray release. But there is an existing thread for that title already.
I am curious to see if there is much support among the Blu-ray fans to see the original film and its sequel released on our favorite format. I don't recall any previous home video release for either film. The 1971 film features Bruce Davison as the title character's impish misfit, Ernest Borgnine as his over-bearing boss, Sondra Locke as his love interest and "The Bride of Frankenstein" herself, Elsa Lanchester as his insufferable mother. The only thing I remember about its sequel, "Ben" is the saccharine Michael Jackson tune—an ode to a rat. It's been many many years since I have viewed either film and would love to revisit both along with the 2003 remake (which features a brilliant performance by Crispin Glover) in high definition.
