Wow, that's great to hear! When F9 released in the UAE, there weren't any 3D shows which was kinda disappointing, but it's fantastic to see the film getting a good 3D release in some countries, and the Aussies are lucky to get it.

Fingers crossed for a 3D Blu-ray release nonetheless. Hoping Universal goes for a 3D Blu-ray release for this after we got Hobbs and Shaw on 3D Blu-ray in India and other countries, but this time they should go for a wider release.

That’s cool. Hopefully a 3D Blu-ray somewhere (like Hobbs and Shaw). No 3D stateside.

Saw this movie in cinema yesterday (Sadly not in 3d as I am in the USA) was a lot of fun though I think Hobbs and Shaw was better. Would definitely buy a 3d blu ray should one be released somewhere.

Yes, I forgot to mention, I saw this in 3D, and the conversion is pretty solid overall. Despite my screening being hampered by dim projection, I still noticed medium to high medium depth (the Universal logo had the best depth), and
[Show spoiler]the space scene
looked impressive.

3D rankings for the F&F movies:

1. Hobbs and Shaw
2. F9
3. The Fate of the Furious

All worthwhile conversions. I haven't seen Furious 7 in the format.

I had no idea there was a 3D release for The Fate of the Furious. Is there a Disc out or just in cinema? It was my least fav of the Fast films but I'd be down to check it out in 3D!

It was in cinemas only in a limited number of countries. No 3D disc out unfortunately.

Not seeing any disc listings, so I presume it was only out in 3D theatrically, in some international territories.

Ah ok, I figured. That's a bummer. Thanks!

Hopefully F9 will get a 3D Blu Ray since Hobbs and Shaw did. I'm gonna go see Black Widow in cinema 3D then IMAX. Still haven't decided on F9. Might just wait for a Disc release. I'd for sure go if there was any 3D showings here.

Hobbes and Shaw didn’t get a 3D release in the U.K. either. This doesn’t have to mean anything

This movie seems to be a great box office success. So i expect 100% that it will get a 3D blu-ray release. We have to wait for the home media announcement in Germany!

The Fate of the Furious was a huge success and that didn't get a 3D blu ray so nothing is 100%.

Yeah, but Hobbs and Shaw got a 3D Blu-ray release, and that came after F&F8, so there is a chance for F9 to get a 3D Blu-ray release, at least in some countries, if Universal continues to release more films on 3D Blu-ray.

Oh yes there's a chance I agree, I disagree with xootoo that it's 100% though.

Had no idea this was coming out in 3D. Same with Hobbs and Shaw - saw it in 2D at the IMAX and then was really nicely surprised with the 3D Blu.

In that case I'm going to wait to see if I can watch it in 3D!

Doable. There are a few standout moments. It's no WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES though

You're lucky to have theaters and a location that still appreciates 3D films, that's awesome, Creed. Thanks for the update on the 3D in this one. Sounds like a good conversion with medium layers of 3D overall. Nice. Glad you enjoyed it despite the dim projection.
