Default Should we be glad some titles aren't out before DV?

Some have complained that the likes of the Marvel movies and Star Wars films haven't yet been released on 4K blu-ray - but could that turn out to be a blessing?

Obviously, Dolby Vision is arriving late to the party when it comes to HDR, but if it proves to be that much superior to HDR-10 due to its dynamic, scene-by-scene approach, will we be quickly wishing that all 4K titles had been released with this capability?

Think back now on the early days of blu-ray, and some of the really poor encoding jobs delivered with early codecs, and perhaps with excessive DNR applied. We're still waiting for a really good version of Predator.

If Dolby Vision (DV) proves a hit, might we end up regretting that the likes of the Bourne Trilogy was only released in HDR-10, and happy that other big releases were held back?
