Amazon Prime Now, has anyone tried it? - Blu-ray Forum

I noticed that my Prime membership has a new thing called Prime Now, where you can can some items delivered to your door in two hours, is there a monthly fee for this?
I don't see one mentioned, although you need to spend $20 and up to get the free delivery.

There is no monthly fee. It's included in your prime subscription. One thing that I'd point out is that the delivery, because it's same day, is contracted out to freelance drivers in many markets. As a result, at checkout, you are presented with a line to include a tip.

Thankfully they allow you to adjust the tip up to 2 days after delivery takes place. That said, I wouldn't consider the delivery free if you're expected to give a tip (which, to those drivers, is only fair to do as long as they do their job).

All in all, for sheer convenience and the (at least in my opinion, infrequent) instance where you need something right away, it's a neat option to have. That said, at least in my usage pattern, that kind of scenario is few and far between. So, I tried it when I was presented with a promo/discount but I have not used it since.

I have a promo for $10 as well that's the reason I want to try it out, I want to get a Paul Pure McCartney CD set, I also notice that it doesn't say Free Autorip digital, hope I get the free digital copy with the purchase.

It's limited to certain cities although they've been slowly expanding to more larger cities.

It shows in my area. I used the 10PRIMENOW coupon and ordered Ash VS Evil Dead and two Funko Pops for $31. It is supposed to arrive between 4-6PM. Guess I'll find out shortly.

To update: I got my order at 4:18PM. It came in a brown bag labeled PRIME NOW. Pretty pleased with the service, saved $10 (even with the tip because of local cost of items being cheaper) and got my stuff within 1 1/2 hours of ordering. Pretty rad.

The only kicker is you have to give a tip, the suggested amount starts at $5 on up.
