I screwed up with this one. kind of.
I never read the details on Amazon.de - 1:77 and English 2.0 (whereas the German is 5.1 DTS HD).
On the plus side the aspect ratio is actually right (2:39 or thereabouts).
But it's a dated master - very dated. It's watchable though - not a disaster.
Except I get a stutter every second - not spent any time working how to fix this - if i even can.
The audio is sadly 2.0.
How they managed to make the german track 5.1 DTS HD but the original language track just 2.0. i know this is for German market, but still.
Got to love these German distributors.

Anyway, just sending out a warning in case anyone decides to pick this up. Proceed with caution.

Thank you. I always liked this underrated film (with the equally underrated Catherine McCormack in the lead role), but the release sounds below-par. Either way, I cant imagine we'll see a better release as it was largely an under-the-radar movie.

I think the stuttering thing i'm getting is a frame rate issue - but they do say it's 24fps. but they also said the aspect ratio was 1.77.
Either way out of the hundreds of blu-rays i have, they don't behave like this - so they've authored this is some cockeyed manner.

Hello there. Does this error still continue? I really love this movie and am saddened that the only BD version of it in the world has this issue.

I didn't find it too much of an issue. The bluray is a small (very small) step up from the DVD i felt.
