How often do you watch movies?

I tried to find a thread on this but couldn't so I thought I'd just make it. How often do you guys watch movies? I find myself watching one every 3 days usually.

i usually try to watch a movie on friday and saturday nights every week.

Not really that often anymore. I used to watch movies all the time (3-4 on a day off). Now I only watch one every couple of weeks or so. We have 200+ DVDs that have never been out of the case. We've also never watched the majority of our BDs. I guess that's why I've stopped collecting them. I'm also a lot pickier than I used to be. Quite a lot of today's movies (IMHO) feel more like a waste of 2 hours than anything else.

I watch either a movie, tv on disc, or bonus features most every morning for a couple hours. I don't usually watch anything in the evening due to my wife not wanting to waste time that way and most stuff being inappropriate for my kids anyway.

Whenever I get to use the theater (or go to a theater). Since I am at college, I'm limited to the screening at my film class. Movies are not meant to be seen on a small screen.

I watch films on an inconsistent basis, but I usually prefer to watch films with my girlfriend than watch films by myself. Maybe I watch 2-3 total per week.

Since returning from a trip in the first week of January, I have watched 49 movies at home (and have not yet gone to the theatre in 2011). I know I'll be watching a movie also every night for the next five nights at least. I rent the discs from the internet, but I can't continue this pace. My most recent monthly bill was $91, which covered about three dozen movies. I'll definitely cut back some time this spring.

It really depends. I've gone through weeks where I would watch two movies every day (weekdays, mind you) and even three a day in the weekend (yup, a lot of spare time). And I've gone through weeks and weeks without watching a single movie. Whatever mood I'm in, the list of movies I still have to watch keeps expanding.

I watch a ton. If I have nothing to watch then I don't watch any.

I would say though on average I watch about 10-15 a week and sometimes more.


It helps that the wife loves to watch them too.

The worst weeks are when I get hooked on a tv series. I watched all of LOST in about a week and a half. 17.5 hours x 6(approx)... lol
