I searched for a Purge: Election Year thread before creating this and only found a reference to the first SB, created the thread and now neoz' thread shows up

Preordered earlier with my student discount. Really looking forward to seeing the movie. Only saw the first two within the last 6 months or so & really enjoyed them, & the trailer looks great for Election Year.

Got the first two so i'll get this one, but for the first two i waited for the price to drop to 10.99 or less, and i'll do the same for this.

3rd movie wasn't that great imo. 1st will always be the best. 2nd was ok and this was a good follow up. Should have stuck to a different story with different characters for each one. So much potential really.

For me I thought the first was a good home invasion thriller, but the second was miles better - a really tense action thriller with a cool Punisher-esque hero and a Warriors/Escape from New York type vibe. Looking forward to seeing the third one.

No movement yet on the Fright Night and Entity steelbooks that are also coming out next week, however.
