It was a great christmas, recieved my blu-ray player BD-HP20U from Sharp Aquos to match my brand new 46inch Sharp aquos... Also got a couple of Blu-ray movies

- Simpsons Movie
- Casino Royal
- Live free or die harder

I have a little problem with the Simpsons movie it doesn't want to play on my blu ray player. I load it, and it reads it but nothing happens what could that be. A problem with the movies it self or the player cause everything works . On the case of the Simpson movie it doesn't have its regional code uhhhhh...... Not sure im ready to bring it back, to get another one but i want to try it out on another blu-ray player. if anyone knows something please let me know thanks Merry Christmas

Is it the Sammy 1400? That one does have issues with new releases.

Try the Panny BD30, it's always been problem free.

You have to update the firmware with a usb flash drive

Dont forget to enable quick start and the aquos link function on the bluray settings menu after you update the firmware.
Forget to mention Congrats the sharp is an amazing player i prefer it over the panasonic 30.
