Default Escape Plan: The Extractors (2019)

ESCAPE PLAN: THE EXTRACTORS

Has anyone watched the new movie?

I still haven't seen Escape Plan 2: Hades. Looks like you can buy the trilogy for $14.99 at most digital retailers or $9.99 for The Extractors on Vudu and Itunes in UHD.

Cheap looking DTV movie with ugly color grading. The action scenes are pretty well shot end edited, though. Stallone has more screentime than in part 2. It's also a very short movie with only 78 min. without end credits. The way Sly takes care of business here looks very similar to Rambo: Last Blood, which I liked a lot. Some bad CGI here and there. Overall, I liked it better than part 2, but not better than part 1.

What is this, Part 3? It looks like a $10 impulse purchase. These are the types of movies perfect for streaming only.

I picked up a cheap code for this, will probably watch it later. I like Stallone. Looks like the reviews are better than they were for "Escape Plan 2", and the reviewer on blu-ray.com gave it a 6/10.

Of three reviews so far on Rotten Tomatoes, all three are positive.

I am a Max Zhang fan, so I am all in for this one. He was great in IP Man 3. Stallone is usually a good reason to waste 78 min. I am also looking forward the Rambo: Last Blood as well. I did not bother with Escape Plan 2 since the reviews were so bad. But after I saw the trailer for this I was ready to add to my collection. Heading to Best Buy tonite !!

The first sequel was terrible! It was so bad, I didn't even finish watching it, so I turned it off! Forget about this one.

I agree with Stallone on Part 2. I don't mind Steven C. Miller's work as a director but 2 was awful.

I'll watch this one.

Escape Plan 2 was quite bad. It reminded me of Steven Seagal's early DTV movies. I wasn't going to bother with this third one, as I assumed it was by the same producers of the second, but after reading Stallone's post, I'm willing to give it a go.

There aren't real filmmakers anymore, sadly. Just creators of product. I've yet to see a DTV flick that is worth a damn.

This.

There's some really solid DTV films. The two DTV Universal Soldiers sequels were surprisingly solid (and with the case of the 4th one pretty damn violent)

It's decent for a DTV action film.
