Eureka Entertainment. The only other BD I can find that they've released is 'Mad Detective', which is region-free. I don't know how the technical quality of that one is - anyone?

In the US, Junebug was released on DVD by Sony Classics, so I would imagine they also have Blu-ray distribution rights in the US. That rather suggests that this Eureka release might be region-locked.

Does anyone know why this is up for preorder again? I was just about to buy it when I noticed.

Odd it was released in 2009, HMV still have it available but it's 15.99. Perhaps it's going to be re-issued.

One of my favourite films. I bought the DVD SE a while back from a Amazon 3rd party brand new for 1.25. Bargain!

Apparently it's been OOP for several months and is now being re-released with a lower RRP. (See the Eureka/MoC "sticky" thread above.)

Yes it is.

Would you believe it's as simple as using this site's search bar: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Junebug-Blu-ray/4611/

well i also have the disk in front of me sealed, this site has not always been accurate and amazon and ebay both show it as Region B.
So do you know for a fact? or are you just going off what this site says?
I can read.

If Pro-B says it's region free then it's region free. He's the most diligent reviewer here when it comes to that kind of information.

Amazon and eBay are barely ever accurate with region codings.

I'm resurrecting this very old thread because I just picked up this Blu-ray. I tried watching with both HD audio mixes, but the sound was very muffled. Changing it to lossy 2.0 was the only way to get good audio. Has anyone else experienced this? Otherwise, the PQ was good and it's still a gem of a movie.

Seems to be, yep. Shame, as it was the only BD release in any market.
