Spotted these on amazon.de earlier.

Does anyone have any information on this release? The Shout Factory release looked very poor for PQ. Hopefully it will get better treatment this time around.

€39.99 is very pricey!

Oooh awesome, nice spotting, finally a region B release of this. Anyone know how this studio is regarding forced subtitles?

Edit: Looking at other titles on this site, NSM do seem reliable in not forcing german subs

So it's very similar to the Shout release, but it's missing the music and effects track and the interview with Jeffrey Jones. I like the film, but it's not a film I'd want to spend €40 on.

Had it been a high bitrate Koch title I might have plunged...

Looks just as bad as the US, but with different framing.

WTF? Framing looks way off in this german version, cutting off top of peoples' heads. See caps 6 and 9 for example.

Should have just kept my DVD.

Just watched this, and yes they really botched the framing on this release. To the point were they should be considering sending out replacement discs.
And PQ is pretty awful too. The sound is of course a big upgrade from the DVD, but I still can't recommend this to anyone

Yes, they corrected the framing issue and also included a second version of the movie, an open matte transfer (aspect ratio: 1,78:1).
