This special limited edition spot gloss slipcover (designed by Vlad Rodriguez) is limited to 8,000 units and is only available on our website and at select indie retailers. Absolutely no major retailers will be stocking them.

Matt Hunter thought he had put his fighting days behind him when he retired from the C.I.A., preferring to live in the serene solitude of the Florida Everglades. But when notorious Soviet terrorist Mikhail Rostov decides to exact revenge against Matt, this one-man-army has no choice but to dust off his martial arts skills and face off, Uzis in hand, against his deadliest enemy. However, as Matt tries to remain one step ahead, the insidiously evil Rostov begins deploying bands of guerrilla fighters across the state to terrorize innocent civilians and force Matt out into the open and compel him to face off for one final, bloody showdown.

An action tour-de-force from director Joseph Zito (The Prowler, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter) and one of the key films in helping establish Chuck Norris (who co-authored the screenplay with James Bruner) as an action superstar, INVASION U.S.A. was also one of the first true blockbusters from 80s genre film legends Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus’ Cannon Films. Co-starring Richard Lynch (The Sword and the Sorcerer), Melissa Prophet (Goodfellas, Casino), and Billy Drago (The Untouchables), this epic feat of non-stop stunt work and incredible action setpieces comes to 4K UHD from Vinegar Syndrome, newly restored for this release from its 35mm original camera negative and ready for retribution with a staggering supply of new and archival bonus materials.

Chuck Norris once urinated in a semi truck's gas tank as a joke. That truck is now known as Optimus Prime.

Hex yeah. I’m in.

I wonder if 88 Films will also give this a release in the UK?
Will probably end up ordering this one anyway, such an enjoyable film.

Potentially, but I doubt it would be the VS UHD scan, they'd have to do their own one

The UK release is OOP and licensed from MGM, they didn’t reissue Hackers or Species in 4K.

Would be all over this if it was delta force 1 or 2, code of silence or any of the missing in actions. But the 88 films bluray is quite sweet and this is not Chucks's best methinks.

Ordered the VS release anyway. I usually don’t mind waiting a bit to see if we get our own releases for most titles, they’d often work out cheaper, easier to sort out returns/replacements if necessary etc, but this is Invasion USA we’re talking about. It has to be preordered quicker than a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick to the nuts.

I was wondering if this was going to come back in print, I sold my Shout version for $70 sometime back because I stopped watching it cold. This film is just average for me, definitely not Chuck's best, but a decent choice for a 4k drop, much better than Navy Seals that's for sure.

Goddamn, one of the greatest action movie of all time and one of Chuck's best. Chuck is a beast in this, so much so that the main bad guy has nightmares about him. Used to watch this all the time with my grandma and always had a blast. The giant vhs was pretty glorious.

While you can't beat the original artwork (which better be on the reversible!) this new artwork is pretty damn awesome too!

This is such a fun movie. I have the 88 Films BD and that's quite good as-is, I wonder how good the upgrade will be. If it's truly a fresh scan and left unmolested, I'll have to pick it up for sure. I have always hoped for some of these underrated Norris classics on UHD (Code of Silence being my favorite) and here we go

Yeah, that is an awesome recurring theme.

I do hope Delta Force gets a 4K upgrade sooner rather than later too. Sensitive politics in the current climate aside, it’s another cracking Chuck action movie (and the main theme tune is one of the very best).

I did a Chuck Norris marathon 2 years ago (watched all of his movies from Breaker breaker all the way to Top Dog) and read his biography (all in honor of my grandma who used to be Chuck's biggest fan!) and one of the thing that I remember is what an incredible run of perfect action movies he did from Lone wolf McQuade to the first Delta Force. His movies were perfection around that time (they included Lone wolf, Missing in action 1 and 2, Code of silence, Invasion USA and Delta Force). How many action stars had this many great movies in a row? It would go down after that (Delta force 2 and Missing in action 3 would be huge stepdown from their previous entries) but I still enjoyed most of them.

I wonder if we'll ever get Walker on blu ray? I watched 7 out of 8 seasons with my grandma in the course of 5 years or so before she passed, never got to see the end. I wouldn't say the show was good (although the first season was better than the rest) but it always made me smile in how ridiculous it could get (the episode where Chuck has to fight a bear is pretty frigging glorious).

The greatest action movie theme of all time? Delta force is pure 80's G.I. Joe cheese but it's also my favorite Chuck and last time I watched it I must have cried at least 4 times because of how frigging awesome it is. One of the best 80's action movie and while i'd be down for a 4k release, I really like my Scorpion copy (with the original artwork)!
