I think this steelbook looks cool but something tells me a lot of collectors will hate it. Thanks for the thread.

You mean like when The Hurt Locker BB steelbook was announced and it was generation one size and collectors flipped out and complained vowing not to buy it, and then when it finally did come out, everyone was in a mad scramble to buy it when they then realized everyone else was buying it up which drove the price up well over $100 within days? Trust me I don't doubt some saying they don't like it and won't buy it will do just the opposite. I also think this one will be much harder to get than the recent Avengers Age of Ultron ones.

Hands down the ugliest deign I have ever seen. This is so bad and it doesn't even make sense unlike the GotG cassette did.

Going to have to pass, unfortunately. I'll get the regular 3D edition.

Props to Marvel/Best Buy for being creative and not just slapping the poster on the cover, but while the design is unique, I find it ugly, plain, and unappealing.

Great movie though, day one buy.

It makes perfect sense design wise. GotG made less sense being that the Walkman art on the steel didn't resemble the actual Walkman in the movie.

I know right? I don't get the design for it either, made no sense to me and I've even seen the movie.

Are you two that dense that it doesn't make sense to you? The design makes absolute sense! Please tell us how it doesn't make any sense to you.

The GOTG steelbook didn't make sense to me because the film was about 5 characters, but the steelbook was designed as if the film was called "The Adventures Of Star Lord."

Not what I expected, will hold off judgment til I see the whole art. The J-card kinda makes it hard to tell. Buying it no matter what anyway.

Wasn't it $20 on release day? Why wouldn't they adjust it?

I have mixed feelings about the steel, but I think I'll preorder this one eventually.

It'll probably have some embossing and debossing, but it's still a little too boring for my tastes.

I might be in the minority but I actually think its an interesting and cool concept. He is breaking through a circuit board and we see the trajectory from the front, inside and back. Or I believe that's what they were going for.

I'm there with you. I think it's a pretty cool design (I also really liked the Guardians steel design while most seemed to hate it).
